The RTD-14.1S Full height four-arm rotor turnstile with motor drive is intended to completely block the passage zone and can operate both indoors and outdoors.

The RTD-14.1S turnstile is used to control access at facilities with increased security requirements.

The turnstile is made of galvanized steel with an anticorrosion powder coating, and the top channel is sealed to IP66 rating, which enables operation of the turnstile under adverse environmental conditions, including in regions with a humid or hot dry climate. The S index of modifications indicates that the turnstile is equipped with a rotor completely made of stainless steel.

The turnstile can be additionally protected against precipitation and attempts to climb over its top by installing an optional canopy. The canopy and the turnstile form a single structure.

It is possible to place ACS controllers inside the turnstile. Readers can be installed on its guide barrier sections.

The turnstile has a passageway width of 540 mm.

It is recommended to install turnstiles based on the 20 persons/minute peak load per passage zone.

The RTD-14.1S turnstiles can be installed in the same row without gaps and transitional elements, including if canopies are used.

If required, the turnstile can come complete with a full height gate, which has an electromechanical lock, and railing systems, produced in the same design.

To simplify and improve the quality of installation, a foundation frame is provided. It allows installation of the turnstile even on unstable ground.

The turnstile is a normally-closed device. In case of power loss, the rotor locks in its initial position.

In case of power loss or an emergency, two built-in mechanical release locks (one for each passage direction) help to unlock the turnstile quickly for free passage with a key.

The control board enables emergency unblocking of the passage upon receiving the Fire Alarm signal (Fire Alarm input).

It is possible to connect an intrusion detector and siren to the turnstile.

The RTD-14.1S turnstile can be operated from an access control system (ACS) or as a standalone unit from its RC-panel (included in the standard delivery set) or WRC (to be purchased separately).

The ability to select the control mode (pulse or potential) ensures correct operation in access control systems of any manufacturer.

The operation mode (passage permission or denial) can be set independently for each passage direction. The control mechanism built into the top channel records the actual fact of passage and its direction, which ensures correct accounting of working hours in access control systems.

The control unit is located inside the top channel and provides a complete set of control modes. Inside the top channel, the DIN rail has inputs to connect an intrusion detector and siren as well as outputs to connect remote indicators.

The built-in motor drive ensures the smooth rotation of rotor sections.

The reverse rotation of rotor sections is blocked upon turning the rotor more than 55°.

The turnstile design provides one option for connecting power and control cables from external devices: from below, through the barrier section.

The turnstile is equipped with built-in ultra-bright LED indication of its status (open/closed) on the guide barrier sections for both sides of each passage zone.

Walkway downlights are provided for the passage zone. Two LED downlights are built into the top channel.
